    1. Hi,

Thanks for your question. I don't make cakes or cupcakes commercially, it's just a hobby. I do the how-to's so I can show readers how to make their own.

Good luck with finding someone who can make some baby boy cupcakes for your baby shower.

      LM :)

  4. I just stumbled upon your blog. Love it! Your talent is phenomenal. I'm trying to debate if I have what it takes to make the Hello Kitty cake for my daughter's 5th birthday this week. Something tells me I will kill the cat. ;) I have book marked your blog and will link it on my blog too. Cheers from Milan!

  6. I just wanted to say a big thank you for your blog. I've made the Lightning McQueen car cake for my son's 5th birthday and it just looks fabulous. I would never ever have thought in a million years that I would be able to do it. Simply brilliant. The step-by-step guide is really simple to follow and makes it far less daunting. I'm already looking at other designs for my daughter's 4th birthday party as she's well envious of her brother's cake so I'll have to do something as good for her then. Thanks again.

    1. Hi Florence,

Thanks for your lovely comment. I'm so glad that the LM cake instructions were useful and that your cake turned out so well. Thanks for taking the time to let me know :)

My son (about to turn 4) wants a cake with Lightning McQueen, Dinosaurs, lego and rockets on it. Oh my. So I have settled on a toybox cake so he can have all of his favourite things without it looking too weird.

Good luck in finding something for your daughter. I'm sure with your new found skills and confidence, the sky is the limit!

      LM x

  7. I have two Lightning McQueen cakes to make, one for my friend's son and one for my cousin's son - a week apart! Whilst googling for tutorials I came across your blog - an hour and a half later I'm still mooching around looking at your pictures and 'stuff'. Fantastic, I think you are brilliant and wish I was half as creative!
